This course is intended for school leavers wishing to gain employment in the aviation industry. It provides instruction in basic skills and practices, with associated theory to enable students to become competent mechanics in the aviation industry. It also forms the basis for suitable them to progress onto the licensed engineering training. They will study engineering fundamentals, mathematics, science, IT, aircraft fundamentals, aircraft systems, theory of flight, weight and balance, electrics, piston engines, propellers and air legislation.
