This course will introduce the participants to the basic skills of print journalism, in which they will prepare a portfolio of written work. It begins with the basics of news-writing. Participants will look at the structure and content of news stories and then research and write their own original story. They will learn the techniques of news-gathering, interviewing, story structure and editing.
